I used to drive up from Fayetteville, NC back in the day (2004, 2005). Aftermath drove up from Texas in 2005 IIRC. The PA turnpike tolls are not that bad. You could cut out some of it by taking 68 West to 79 North to Pittsburgh instead 270 to 70 to 76.

I knew from the beginning I wouldn't be able to really do much with my car even though they share the same side profile, but I got the Pontiac, not the Olds and I had accepted being excluded from a lot of things.

So you guys just tell me where I can participate and where I can't and we'll all be good. Besides, I'm a GM dude. The fact that I can go to an Olds show is reason enough to make me want to go to Michigan. I just have to get this car ready for the trip. The futhest I've driven it is to Whitehall, Pennsylvania. That was 1500 miles in one day (round trip). I've never driven anywhere further, plus I'm rolling solo so Idk how it would affect me either. I might pitstop in Youngstown Ohio and visit a friend if I go through with this.

if you do come to ASS, you can just leave your car at the hotel and roll with me to the Homecoming show (olds show) unless you wanna cruise your car with all of us, but the offer is there for the taking.

Haha thanks man I'm in love with the car, I plan on doing a nice build soon enough. It's not an average car you see modded, and that's what I like about it. Plus I just love the way she looks right now, after the brake setup, appearance is pretty much set. I did go through a blacked out theme for awhile, but debaged the whole trunk, removed the plasti dip on front emblem (it's chrome again) and removed the VHT on the tails back to there stock color.

Hahaha tippin big ain't worth it unless there is one night stands... And then some!

It's a 4-5 day event. Car show for Alero's only one day, then it's basically hangin out chatting with people, go to olds museum. Then we also go to the olds homecoming show on Father's Day.

Don't ever get an iphone, I had to switch lines with sprint, so I got a free iphone 4 to see what the hype was about and I hate everything about it. within a week I plan on reactivating my Galaxy s3 if this weather will allow me to get into the city..

The iPhone 5 is faster, better chip, thinner, bigger screen, lighter and with the new charger. It's a pretty good upgrade from the 4 or 4s, i would take the 5 over the 4.

I like the new chargers, it actually locks into the phone unlike the 4/4s chargers where there is times it doesn't want to stay in under certain circumstances. I've got the ipad mini and it has the new charger and it is reversible as in, you don't have to worry about putting it in one way, you plug it in and it doesn't matter, plus it literally locks into the charge port very nicely. Takes a little bit of force just to remove it, and I like that part about it. Plus being in almost dark I don't have to worry about which way the charger goes in, I just plug in and I'm set.

the charger being reversible is cool...it almost makes up for the fact that now everyone has to replace all their cables...I don't know about it being harder to remove, I have heard plenty about previous generation Idevices having the charge port go bad in an unreasonable time frame depending on what caused this it could make it better or it could make it worse...I also hope that they have fixed the headphone issue with headphone ports going bad because particularly with the Ipods the headphone port is kinda a important thing

I've had 3 android phones and the best one I've had is the MyTouch 4G Slide. I've had it for a year and a month now, and I wouldn't think about trading or switching phones. I also have a Motorola Milestone (OG Droid on SIM CARD) laying around and it's decent too when rooted.

I hate the fact that you NEED iTunes to sync with everything, you can't really customize it, you're stuck with literally ONE phone model, and it's becoming an a-hole - everyone has one, it freezes often, it runs apps you're no longer using in the background instead of closing them, and the only real way of closing them is by holding the weird button at the bottom of the screen to get the "task manager" and get it to close. You can't turn off data, you can't turn off GPS, you're practically being tracked by the cell phone company down to your coordinates (n/w/s/e). I'm sorry but the Android may be crap for battery life but at least I can control about 90% of the phone. iPhones won't let me do that. Although I do admit, the music player looks really nice.

I said what I paid last year and I live around 100 miles north of him...The whole gas thing is bullshit after the claims that it wouldn't get as high this year as last year...I am tired of the average person who is doing what they can to get by getting bent over every time they go to the pump so that the gas moguls can eat steak and shrimp every night in their giant luxurious mansions, and still have plenty extra money left to spare...to think all that money they make and they are STILL subsidized

it is... especially when at the prices oil is per barrel at one point we were still at 2 something with that price...however they have bumped up the price to a greater profit margin and since nothing has been done about it, they will continue to increase that profit margin...If I remember correctly that was supposed to be one of the purposes of our government was to stop that stuff from happening not debating over whether or not one of our constitutional rights is still valid

Yea, but lowering fuel prices doesn't fit into their agendas as well as stripping God given rights from citizens. I doubt prices will ever go down below $3 again, oil companies are far to greedy, and the govt doesn't listen to the people anymore.

Morgan who is infamous for his greed used personal money to help solve worsening financial problems back around 1907...if only his predecessors could pay do the same...if our economy crashes it will likely bring down the world economy and then all there money won't matter for shit...What people are failing to realize is that sure it is ok to work hard and get rich but it only functions to a certain point...in their position they are living on the backs of the middle class and the poor, and when the middle class and the poor can't afford to function then the rich are screwed...The other problem is that everybody thinks they are entitled to something, the world has become way too full of get rich schemes, and people trying to make a buck without doing anything

I pesonally don't get it. Every year, they pin the price of gas to something. Nowadays, they just raise it for no reason. We're not even in March and gas is already 4.40 in some areas of DC. I mean really? Who's gonna pump there when Virginia or Maryland is 15 miles or so away and gas is 3.80 near the border of DC?

Will do, she has been doing pretty good lately...I think that it may be carbon buildup breaking down, it has started making the sound that it made before the knocking thing a few times and I found a bumpy road and went on a decent length drive and it has made the sound stop...the car was pretty severely neglected before I got it and now that I am doing my best to keep it maintained, I think that buildups are breaking down or something who knows...thank you for putting out the offer though...for that matter same with you
