As for the mustang, after I got screwed on the alero I got home and scowered the Internet, tried talking the guy down for bodymans to but I just don't have that kinda money right now and there are NO other 2.2 5sp coupes out there, let alone one in good shape i could afford. I know, coulda got a different one, but if I was going back to an n-body from that GTO I wasn't about to just settle and never be completely happy with it. The mustang was sitting on the side of the road in town, not having a car I was kinda screwed. It's in good shape, low miles, just needed a little love. Trust me I didn't want to do it either but the convertible and having a means to get myself to work yesterday without having to get another loan won me over. Of course I knew I'd catch a ton of shit on here for it but after loosing thousands on the goat i was/still am in terrible place financially not to mention other things going on in life right now. and having owned it for nearly 48 hours now I can officially say I much prefer gm. There are few things I like, mostly just the damn drop top. But it's transportation and it gets the job done even if I am 'that guy' now. Will be posting my garage full of alero parts soon, as well as last dibs for anything on the parts alero, right now money>stuff I'd like to keep for a future alero but it would also have to be stored at my moms house. Taking any hours I can get but I still try to hop on here, sorry to disappoint... I had plans to build an awesome ho

Well I know that I WILL be catching some crap for some of the things I've done, but I've dropped a ridiculous amount of money doing finishing touches on Allie to be at ASS. She is certainly unique and I love her! I am leaking coolant however, so I may need to do a hose or maybe the radiator? I'm not running hot but she has started leaving small puddles over the past few days. It seems to be coming from the center of the car? I'm not sure? I have to take a better look.

I had a coolant leak at the center front of the Alero once too. Turns out, the lower rad hose clamp wasn't tight enough and the coolant was running down the air dam and leaking in the center

I would not be surprised. My hoses feel spongy as hell. They were allegedly new 40k ago? They still have the squeeze clams on them though? I will probably get all new hoses and get them on just in case.

If it is towards passenger side then it is water pump. If just middle it could be from where the lower hose goes under motor and then comes up to t-stat or it could be the the upper hose or water neck on head where upper hose fits on.

Well, i said i would have a "perfect" alero for this show but that wont happen. My driver side door is dented in still and CF hood still damaged a little. Bringing her in to get a couple things fixed mechanically so i feel comfortable driving 600+ both ways. I'm pumped though! Hope the weather is nice :)

I just had a new water pump, thermostat and timing done within the past 6 months. I can't image it's that? I think it's a hose or possibly still that damn plastic water housing? I will have some of you guys take a look and see what you think while I'm there. It doesn't do it every time either which is why I'm confused. When parked in the garage flat, it seems to leak somewhere near the ac compressor. When in the driveway on a slight slant it seems to be spotting under the water housing near the ps pump.
