That's what I thought at first about "showing" but it's less about how "nice" the car is and more about representing the community with a presence.

As for me, I can't get there until friday night at the earliest.. I might be able to pack in some extra hours at the beginning of the week so I can get out early on friday so I get there before 4AM. Vacation schedule at work did not cooperate nicely this year, I work with people that have more tenure now.

Oh, and I'll be driving my Quad4 Z26. (OLDS Power!)

I will go to my first and only meet if it is the last. It is less then a hour drive. I wont put my car in the show because I know I don't have the best. I was wondering why this is the last meet and is this aleromod going to stay or go?

Actually I think they would notice. We are the most organized group at Homecoming. We enter as one (including trolley horn announcement) and leave as a group. We also act very civilized and they are amazed at that with the amount of young guys we have, they expect the group to be rowdy and we are nothing but respectful.

yes it is pretty easy.. but it wont come off during a at home car wash, or while driving. i mean it will take some effort to peel all of it off. but its possible and not that hard.

i never tried with a self car wash but i think you would be okay as long as you dont blast the stuff point blank with there power washer

It took 12 hours there 11 hours back IIRC...we were in line for 10 hours on the way there but then we hit rush hour in chicago...My friend got off work in concordia at 8 though and we didn't get on the road until 8:30-9...If it is ok with you and them I would like for all of us to stay together the night before either in clay or if they are still in con and want to leave from there house then con and leave at 6 to try and make it through chicago before the rush, hopefully there are less construction zones and we can go faster the whole way but I was with the exception of a few construction zones going 75-85 the entire way though the speed limit drops to 70 when we are in Iowa, then is 65 through Illinois, then goes to 70 the rest of the way

So I can officially announce that I won't be able to attend the last ASS because I will be in Oklahoma doing my Basic Combat Training at the time. I ship out on the 20th of May and won't be back until the end of my AIT training sometime in September or October. I look forward to seeing the pics and fun times that were had upon my return.

Even though I'm also going through some messed up stuff, I registered. Opted not to show a car... for now. Some asswipe dented my Cutty at a mall in Virginia. Tried pulling the dent out, but it's still noticeable, so IDK what I want to do with my car now. I really wanna show it at the HC show, but I'll deal with it over there. What's $20 extra to sign up to show on the actual day? I can't even register it because it doesn't allow that option at the registration site.
