I had a K&N Oil Filter for a while, until I ran into my grade 12 shop teacher in a parking lot. He asked me what I had in my car, I told him...and i mentioned the oil filter, he told me to go change it ASAP..and run stock...because apparently anything aftermarket will just let crap into your oil...Mind you this guy was a mechanic for 25 years...At Canadian Tire :P

I read an oil filter study on the Internet awhile back, and AC Delco was right up there in the top ranked filters. I NEVER buy Fram after seeing the study. I will have to see if I can find the link. I use Mobil 1 on my Cobra.

Stick with AC Delco and you'll be fine Ronin.
OT: Dont forget to change your fuel filter at least every 6 months. In Europe they get cloged faster because of the gas we use.

MMMM, I started using the K&N filter, but now I think I'm going back to AC Delco after reading this.
I just bought the K&N filter, I'll take it back and buy 4 Delcos, for the same price

Yeah, I always use the AC Delco filter on my cutlass, I like the price! If I can't get one of those, I get the Pure One from Advance Auto. I haven't changed the oil in the Alero yet, but will use AC on it until I do synthetic. Then it will be all Mobil 1!

yeah all mobile 1 for your oil is cool, because it says on the mobil 1 oil filter box, that its specifically designed and performs the best with mobil 1's fully synthetic oil.

I run Mobil 1 in the Ho as well, but I think I'll stick with the ACDelco Duraguard
