Yeah, clear the turn signals and paint the bezels black before you reassemble the headlights. Here's the link for clearing the headlights.

Black bezels will look good on a black car. Do you have any pictures of your car?

I would use some sort of paint that is designed for plastic. Something like Krylon Fusion or some sort of plastic model paint. Make sure you scuff up the bezels pretty good before you paint them and I would personally also add a clear coat. Mine aren't painted. Perhaps there is somebody out there that has done it and has some advice?

i went with krylon, i think semi flat black, or satin black.....i didnt scuff up mine at all.., but if you tape off the outside turn signal, make sure you use the type of painters tape that will leave no residue behind, and dont try to wipe the residue away that does get left behind...soak it in very hot water(after the paint has cured), and the glue should come off......one set of headlights i did was a bit of a nightmare, so the next set im doing is gonna be projector beams..lol

Same here J.....I went with Krylon Fusion, in a semi-gloss. 1 can did the whole job. ZERO prep work, and It turned out very nice IMO. Just gotta be patient, and shoot thinner coats. ( If I remember correctly, I shot 4 coats on each bezel, about 20-30 minutes in between each coat... that'l vary depending on the climate and ventilation though. Just wait until the 1st coat gets "tacky", then shoot the next one. etc., etc. ) Can't be in a hurry.

yep, thats the way i did it, although i did mask ouy the turn signal area....i did notice however, that after paintin the trim black it almost seems like i lost some light at night, i have the silverstars, but im thinkin if would have left a lil crhome up on the top (underside) of the trim that i would have shined better, its not bad, but i thought it was a lil different
