i don't normally have a problem getting hold of him, he gets back with me fairly quickly.

and ALERO its a programmer so you can adjust settings, i'm installing stage 1 heads, stage 1 supercharger cam, u/l manifolds, headers, 62mm/TB, pro-m maf, and 8psi boost, bulletproof tranny and some more suspension mods. they have suggested the programmer to me because of the adjustments needed for fine tuning.

yes, you can update your flash program for mods and stuff like that yourself with a tuner module, instead of mailing your pcm in. and i think they let you do another compatible gm car too (for a friend)

warning. this is not a novice piece
you can seriously screw things up if you dont know what your doing.
if its not somthing your sure you know how to do you may want to consider a custom tune from dhp instead.
or just majorly do your homework before tearing into this

there is a seperate DHP Powertuner only forum that tells you how to modify your own PCM and quite a few people there to help and answer questions. if/when you buy the powertuner, DHP will tell you how to gain access to that forum.

and the actual changing of the PCM tables isnt that hard or knowing what to change is not hard, but actually figuring out how far you can go before you blow something up is the scary part.

ive been using the powertuner for almost 9 months now.

cool thing about the Powertuner is that you can opt for a wideband I/O on the interface and it works with the powertuner scantool. so the only thing you would have to buy is the 5volt WB O2 sensor.

and iirc, honda makes one for some of there cars and is stock and runs like $75 for the sensor.
