Im wanting to put dual exhaust on my alero. I've noticed some of you have put it on your aleros with the factory bumper on i think??? But it looks like it has cut outs on both sides for the exhaust. Mine doesnt have that...do i need to something or am i just seeing things wrong in the pictures?

Some have body kits, some just leave the stock bumper on it eventually melts.

The stock bumper has only one cut out.

Yes...a coutout on the otherside is deffinatly recomended(tho not needed). All u really need is a small hack-saw or something equvilent, and a couple files. If u look under your bumper the place for the x-tra cutout is already pretty much laid out in the molding. Just take a few measurments from the other side, trace it out on the side u need to cut and bam...rough it out with the saw and then file to finish. If done correctly there shouldnt be any need to paint.
I also heard that a lot of exaust shops can do this for u for a lil xtra cash when they do the install on the new exaust.

No I took it to a body shop for that. I wanted a professional look to the job.

Even the dealer asked me who did it and how good it looked

Thank you for the fame I like it

I was picking my car up from the dealer today, and I noticed that one of the new Aleros on the lot had the Razzi kit on it with dual exhaust. I didn't even know there was an option for this, I checked out Olds website and didn't find anything on it. It looked pretty badass. Except for it having drum brakes in the rear and 15" wheels.

most likely the dealership wanted to get rid of more aleros so they slapped on a Razzi Kit to make it more appealing to the common person and maybe get a quick sale, I seen a razzi kit at a dealership on a New Cavailer because those cars arent selling like they want.

it would press up a bit in the rear...it's better to have the bumper cut...barely cost anything to do it

The muffler shop that i talked to told me they did it to another alero without the person modding the bumper any and it looked fine. Like you said i would like to get it cut out cause i know taht would look better but i cant find a body shop that says they'll do it and gurantee they're work.

its really not a huge process, its basically just cutting involved...not much you can have guaranteed by a shop
