OK as most of you know, IF I get a decent tax refund I'm getting RSM Racing ported heads. I will be adding in a set of S&S headers with a flex pipe and cat. I will also be upgrading the piping between the cat and Flowmaster 80 to a 2.5, so everything will be 2.5 from the headers back. B)
I already have the P&P UIM and LIM, a 62mm TB, oversized alt. pullie, and lightened water pump pullie, Accel 9000 extreme 8mm wires, also I run a CAI only on the track (WAI on the street)
Will I need a PCM upgrade or will stock be OK? I'm not looking for more power with this, just trying to keep the motor safe

uhhhh i'd say its about time to change to a new pcm, so you can have your fuel delivery curves keeping up with your ported valves in the heads and get the most out of your stuff......i think

Found this on Alero upgrades.
The GA SE is the same as an ALero GLS, right? I'm pretty sure it is.
I contacted PFYC too
DHP on PFYC

I'm no authority on the matter Ken, but something tells me no. I can't remember when or who, but I vaguely remember this coming up one time before, and I think the GA SE tune doesn't work. I highly suggest you contact DHP for specific info. Jabartram could help, too.

I got a response from PFYC already
Hello Ken,
Even though they are the same engines and stuff they just won't work
together. There are slight differences between the PCM's for the cars
so they won't work. Sorry
Regards,
Chris Cattie
