so my lady and I are going to niagra falls around christmas. we are staying at the embassy suites overlooking the falls. I plan on getting engaged while im there. can anyone recommend some things to do in that area, i know quite a few of you live up there or have been there. thanks.

Going over the falls seem to be very popular past time

Good timing. The Niagara show of lights (Festival of Lights?) goes on around xmas, the GF will love it. The falls get lit up at night, its very nice. There are 2 casinos, the old Niagara casino and the brand new Fallsview Casino.
Clifton hill has all the attractions and shops, is a nice walk. Umm, Niagara on the Lake is a nice drive. not sure how it will be when you come tho, ie: snow, and the vinyards are pretty bland in the winter.

Embassy Suites is a VERY NICE hotel, close to the new casino. Skylon Tower (sp?) for dinner.

You've gotta see the Festival of Lights... I second Molson on that one... There's tons of sweet lil romantic things to do down there...

I'm heading that way for Valentine's Day.... gotta see that new Casino....

Not sure how much of it will be open in the winter, but Clifton Hill was a blast when i was there this summer..... THe Alien Wax musem was the best i think, But I'm a geek so.......
