So - I think it's time to move on (Matt's Alero is FOR SALE)
Everyone:
We all know change is inevitable, and I think it's time for me to move on from my Alero.
I don't know if anyone left here would be interested in it, but if you've been around for a while, you probably know what's wrapped up in this car.
If not, look here - https://www.aleromod.com/forums/showthread.php?t=39109
Also, there is a YouTube video on it that was done a bit over a year ago - https://youtu.be/uByyyuiLL8A?si=0M6keBcbHdli1864
A few quick notes -
1. I am the original owner of this car. I bought it new from the dealer shortly after I got married in late June 2000.
2. The car has had a few small fender-benders throughout its life, but nothing too serious (no airbag deployments). All repairs were done by accredited body shops.
3. As of today, the chassis (and odometer) shows just over 190,000 miles (I just did an oil change and tire rotation in early June 2024). The interior shows some signs of wear, but there are no rips or tears in the leather seats (although there are a few blemishes). The original vinyl on the dash started peeling and wrinkling several years ago, so much of it was covered over with a dash cap, but there's not anything covering the black dash plastic over the passenger airbag (except for a bit of leftover foam). Although it was my daily driver early on, it has not been driven in the winter months in over 20 years.
I'll answer any questions as best I can.
I know I'm never going to get out of it what I've put into it with modifications, but if I can get $4000US for it, I'd be happy.
Located in Northern Illinois. Thanks for looking.

Bro this website has less visitors than Joe Biden reading to inner-city kids at a library.. You're legit better off putting up flyers around the salvation army.

The Facebook group might garner interest ( https://www.facebook.com/groups/196491173395) But also just regular Facebook marketplace would be ideal.

It shocks me to see this but I know we can all reach that point in moving on from our toys... I wish I had the cash, your asking price is very reasonable and in my opinion the car is worth every penny!!
As Chris mentioned, Facebook seems to be the best bet for a sale, but I'm not sure if you've got Facebook anymore...
Good luck with the sale Matt, I wish you all the best!

Matt's Alero just left on a trailer headed to its new home.
Best wishes to the new owners.
