Yeah....can't wait to see the finished product, but it looks like you've done your homework, design-wise

It looks realy good. I like the idea of placing the amp inside of the rack. What direction is the sub going to be placed? I had my first sub box open on the back with 3/4 plexiglass covering the opening. It was only a eight inch cone but one of the eclipse 88 aluminum series. The large basket and 22 oz magnet made it appealing to look at. The plexiglass was held on with chrome screws every two inches and 1/5 inch foam surround to seal it. I planned to put mirrors on the inside but never got around to it. Be sure to post your finished product and keep up the good work.

Have you had much experiece in Glassing? My last attempt was a waste of time and money to say the least. Is there any books or websites that you might suggest on this topic. I was also curious what materials were commonly used. I purchased mine from Loes. Thanks.

ok well im talkin about Fiberglass, not accual glass...
There are quite a few good walk thrus on the net... i looked at em a while ago.. but the one that made me cream myself :P was the walk thrus for the alpine showcars on www.alpine1.com
They are amazing...
I have done a little work with fiberglass, and yes the materials are availble at any hardware/automotive stores.
