Sigh, more trouble
If you've been reading my posts you'll know iv'e been having a liot of issues. My dad moved my hoe into the garage for me last night and i tryed to start it today and the key wont budge. As soon as i put the key in the ignition it wont turn. It's like its locked. And It killed the battery too.
So now I'm stuck in my garage with a dead battery with no way to get the car in neutral
is it the ignition?

is the steering wheel locked. is the car in park all the way. is your key worn down. could be alot of things or you just need a new key.if the steering wheel is locked try moving it back and forth while you try to turn the key.

yeah, that part about the steering wheel locked to tight, I've seen that be a problem several times before. not really on my car, but quite a few of my friends.

Well, the problem will NEVER bee the wheel on the Alero, because there is no column lock.
Also, sometimes messing with the gear position can help too..

That's funny, because my steering wheel locks when you park and turn off the engine and turn the wheel so far.. it'll lock.

Well, it doesn't turn forever. But it will turn just as far with the engine off as it will running.
