Finially got her out of the Garage
i had to replace the battery cause the year old yellow top took a crap, what a POS! So it was a nice day so i got her out and cleaned it off. can't wait til insurance goes back on and I can drive it. Looks like will need the yearly O2 sensor.
Not sure if side skirts will get done this year. got a lot of money going into house.

that was a pita with the yellow top. didn't know it had a 3yr warranty. do you have the warranty info? be nice to get replaced. Silent told me that yellow tops suck he never last so I just went an got a new battery. But if you can get it replaced that would be great.

yellow tops don't last!? i've never heard of that. the reds are shit... but the yellows are deep cycle. they go dead, you just give them a good overnight trickle charge and they are brand new again.

just is. ever since the build on the motor and sitting over the winter every year it does. i think she runs rich and a lot of carbon gets on it. It's one of those things that i deal with........no biggy
FYI 99 uses a different upstream.

well thats just pathetic. look up your receipt, take it to where you got it. i replaced 2 reds, and after the 3rd crapped out, i traded it for the yellow (and paid the difference) optima's warranties are solid.
