Crankshaft Position Sensors

Beginning my F40 manual swap soon and BAM! A pesky Crank Position Sensor code. I understand how and where they are located and how to replace them, but do I really need a TECH2 scan tool to relearn them? I don't have one, no one rents them here and my local chevy dealer charges out the ass for anything to do on theirs. It ridiculous. Help!
