hey
I may have introduced myself here before.. I can't remember.
Anyway, I just picked up a 2001 Alero GL (GL2 I think?). Blue, 2-door, 2.4L with all the options except leather.
Anyway, it's nothing truly special... swapping to a 5-speed in the next month or so, once work slows down and I can get a weekend off. Also got a line on some coilovers, so might grab those as well if they are not awful.
Anyway, just wanted to say hi! Looking forward to being more active around here in the future. Cheers!

Yes, 2-door is pretty proper. I paid barely any money for this car and it is in excellent shape (a co-worker is moving to Florida from where I live in Canada, and sold me his second car cheap).
Yes it does have a sunroof.
Car goes back in Monday to get the hazard switch recall done, and then I am looking forward to modding it! I'm thinking HIDs are a must... for those with them, what is the cutoff like? Should I look into some form of projector so as not to blind everyone on the road, or do they project just fine on the stock headlights? The way they appear to be set up, I'm thinking they won't cause too much glare, but never hurts to ask from people who already have them!
Thanks for the welcome everyone.

Yes it's going to be a bit of a pain in the ass to do, but I'll be much happier with it... I have never owned an automatic car before, so it's hard to kick the habit of reaching for the clutch haha.
