Cosmo Intake for ECOtec
Soo I just ordered an Air Intake from Cosmo for my car (ECOtec) and im wondering a couple things...
1.how hard is it to install (I have a garage to use and my buddy is a licensed mechanic... but i wonna try and do it myself)
2.Has anyone else ever bought anything from Cosmo
3.If so how long did it take till you recieved it (They told me 24 hours to ship and 3-4 days before i recieve (Moncton-New Brunswick-Canada)
THANKS!!!!

it's extremely easy just oil your filter when you get it, your going to have to buy a k&n recharge kit, the hardest part may be putting the oxygen sensor into the new air intake tube, also be patient with the rubber elbow that connects to the throttle body.

yeah it comes with the oil and your going to need it before you put it on your car, but it's really cheap it cost me $13.11 at the local NAPA parts store.

I ordered a WAI from cosmo. It took less than a week to ship. I am alot closer to Quebec than you are though.
Cosmo recommends that you can run their filter with or without oil. The K&N charge kit is not a bad option though. Just be modest in applying the oil.
You should have no issue with the install. I did mine in 5-10 minutes.
The only issue I had was that the harness for my IAT sensor was a bit short. I spliced and soldered an new section of wire to correct the issue.
good luck!

I think CT has it for $12.99
It is called K&N recharge kit. It has two bottles. One cleaner, one oil.
I have found it cheaper on sale at TSC.

They gave me the sticker for the intake separate.
I left mine off. I thought it looked better that way.
I also have a second Cosmo Racing sticker that came with my short shifter. Haven't found a place for it yet. It will most likely end up on a tool chest

I have one for a 2.4L but it is relatively the same I am guessing but the toughest part was getting the o2 sensor through the rubber plug and I drilled and new hole for that sensor and plug the other (aluminum tape) because the harness couldn't reach but no biggy.
