has anybody's dash started to peel? the mechanic i always go to said his sister's alero's dash peeled also... on the driver's side to the left of the headlight sensor and stuff... i bought a custom velour dash cover but it kinda looks ghetto... at least it doesn't look like the car's coming apart... i was thinking about peeling it all off too... but the mechanic and i went to a junkyard and peeled a dash on a '99 alero and we heated the crap out of it(even when it was like 99 degrees outside) there was a lot of glue that wouldn't come off... looked crappy... but if the glue would have come off, it would have looked pretty tight... i even went back with some GooGone but there was still some in the little cracks and stuff...

if u do decide to peel it all... u better remove all ur vents, fuse panels, etc... some places are heavily glued and a pain in the ass to get undone..

yeap, if I do peel, everythings coming off, pretty much the whole dash area, is coming off.

If anyone else decides to peel it off, now would be a great time for interior painting if your into that kinda stuff

the glue gm uses does not work well in hot tempatures thats why your guy's dash is peeling! my advice? goto a local upholstery shop and get it re-vinyled they have better stuff that wont let it peel!
