My A/C all of the sudden stopped working on the regular modes. It will only work if I crank it up to the maximum setting. Once I crank it up, it works fine and I get cold air. Anybody seen this before?

A/C only? Is it the fan that doesn't work until in the highest setting? If so, it may be the fan resistor. Had to replace mine a couple of months ago because it only worked in the highest setting. The resistor is about twenty bucks and is behind/under your glove box. Pretty easy to get to.

Thanks for the input that saved me a lot of time. Yes the A/C only works when I turn it all the way to the setting with the little fan on it.

I j ust replaced the resistor and it works like a champ. My dealership raped me for 27 dollars for it. Interestingly enough, the old one was made in Mexico and the new one is made in Japan.

Common problem, easy fix. Nothing to make a huge fuss over though
