Newby
Hello everyone! i'm Stasha. I live in MN and of course currently freezing lol...i just bought a 2001 alero from a friend 2 days ago. i love the car but already having issues and now it wont turn on and is sitting in a parking lot grr...luckily he's going to come see whats goign on. anyways look forward to getting to know you all

Welcome. and your problem is most likeyly the pass lock.does it turn over and just not start or does it not even turn over?

Welcome to the site, try to take the crticism you WILL get on stuff lightly. Its good guys here overall.
did you go back out later and try again? the passlock likes to act up sometimes on these cars. or with cold weather it could be batt or starter thoses are the only basic things though. all that stuff is easy to fix though, at least on the 2.4 the starter is easy. what engine do you have?
