Im New!!
Hello everyone. My name is Ken and im new to aleromod. I am from southeast Michigan and work for a Automotive fuel systems company. I own a Alero GLS Coupe 3.4L gold in color. I currently have tinted tail lights, custom magnaflow exhaust, de-badged the rear, a killer sound system, and just cleared the corners of my headlights(A HUGE PAIN!). Future mods include a custom duel magnaflow exhaust, built motor, lowering springs, bodykit, 10000K HID's, blue strobe kit, and a 200shot of nitrous. Thank you for welcoming me to the community, and I really look forward to chatting with you fellow Alero owners and watching your projects come to!

You need to build your engine before that 200 shot...unless you want a grenade under your hood. Iirc some people have run a 75 shot on a built engine. I doubt a 200 would be safe at all.
But welcome!

Yeah your right. But this is not my first rodeo. Depends on how well the motor is built. Only time will tell! Very well might go boom. But ill be fun till it does

200 shot
Yeah you better build the hell out of that engine before you hit it with a 200 shot. Ya dont wanna weld the bottom end together, burn holes in the pistons,or melt valves. Im going to fully build my engine before i even think about nitrous.

Agreed totally. A very close friend works for a company that design and build F1 and speedboat motors. He is on board. Trial and error. But thanks for the feedback!

200 shot
I've learned from owning and working on my alero that bolt ons are your best friend when it comes to reliable power gains. Like ive got obx headers and i gained a good bit of Mid-High end power and a cold air intake gained me some torque, and better coils and wires and plugs really help. But after that i would do a bigger TB and p&p upper & lower intake plenum. After that i would run forged pistons, rods, rings, and bearings. Maybe even bore out the bottom end a little bit but not overkill then work on the heads.

Damn, just missed the big Alero and Oldsmobile shows.
You're local though, so if you have any questions on things, let me know.

Thanks ION noted. I see i have caught the negativity already LOL. A little car history, father in-law owned it, bad intake gaskets had coolant in the oil and he drove it that way for 2 months. He gave me the car for free, me and a friend put a used motor in it. Took us 4 hours(not bad). Pictures to come, my phone picture size is not compatible.

I'm calling bs. Jawa is right.
You didn't do it in 4 hours. It took me AT LEAST 6 by dropping the whole subframe, and that's a hell of a lot easier.
