because FWD burnouts typically aren't impressive to other people
and are silly to do unless you're about to lay down a nice time at the track

A friend wants to swap his engine for an older corvette motor and tranny.
Make it rear-wheel drive.. The motor will never fit.. (In my opinion atleast) lol
How does your car run supercharged ? Is it the LD9 (5-speed manual tranny)
Down the road, Ide like to do something like that.. But keep it to a minimum

It's turbocharged now. LD9 automatic.
Eventually a RWD swap is planned, lol. Eventually..

you can fit basically any motor in any car, some can swap right in... others you have to fabricate, make custom mounts, and all the fun stuff.

BLASPHEMY! what kind of "older" corvette engine?..It will fit, but its not cheap or easy..and if you do it wrong then its not really worth it..

Sure a Vette engine WILL fit, in fact somebody did it.
A modded S-10 frame, with the Vette Motor and the car ran an impressive 14.3 in the 1/4 mile, which is a whopping .2 seconds faster than my V6 NA Alero, also .2 seconds faster than Blackjack's Alero running on 5 cyl, and slower than Ion's turboed 4 bannger.
the point, Ion and myself probably have the same amount of money in our cars, combined, than this guy did

Redog:Ion: I heard we can get our cars to go.... Very fast

JLw7123: I saw that one ! Personally I cant afford to roast`em, just little peels here and there

I hope to be in the very low 14's maybe high 13's with my car when I rebuild the engine. I'll be very happy with high 13's and 100 in the 1/4 mile.
I'm staying NA

Look at my youtube account, RedogOnyx
I have a few track runs with my Alero on there, one that I know of I'm doing my burnout and just dragging my rear tires with the e-brake on.
I had very good tires on my car in that vid, the ones I have now are just as good, if not a little bit better
