Angry

So I hate amber running lights.

I had some pretty sweet matching blue 194's and 3157's, but the 3157's were painted and they are starting to turn nasty colors now.

The shop that sold the 3157's is out of business and they were some obscure bulbes i've never heard of.

SO: here's what i'm looking for

either white 194's/3157's that won't look brown next to my headlights

or

blue ones that match colors (found lots that are different colors of blue) and are not so damn dark people can't see you signal

There are 2 cool lights for the 3157's.

Go to PFYC.com and look at the Silverstar headlights. They now have a blueish 3157, which, when lit, is amber.

Eurolite has a led bulb that is clear and amber when lit.

I have Eurolite's for my 194's. The glass isn't painted like some other cheap ones

Thanks man, but see above where i mention I HATE AMBER RUNNING LIGHTS!! :P

It'd be cool if the 3157s glowed white for running and amber for signalling, but i really don't like orange lights on my car all the time. yuck.

i actually got some good 194 at autozone. they are some japanese brand. they look goldish silver but is a cyberwhite.

3157, well good luck. but if you get APC ones or something similar, they are decent when new but then dull after time. but if you ever noticed that when the turn signal is on the become more whiter when it blinks. don't know why but that is what i have seen.

Everything is white in my headlights. amber does suck.

not so. if a cop pulls you over for it it is because the cop is a rooster.

amber and white are legal colors for the front.

the only thing the cop can throw a fit about is the amber reflector. not the light color.

Really?!?!?

I have to avoid some townships here because of my tints. I got a $104 for them last Jan. :wah:

I still feel as though that the cop gave me the ticket because I was from the city. All cars and trucks reg. in Philadelphia have to have a yellow sticker in the back window. Everyplace else a license plate sticker.

The cop didn't see the sticker right away and said I wasn't displaying a current reg sticker. When I looked back and said that it was right there, his attidute changed to Mr. A**h**e and metered my tint, wrong, and gave me a $104 ticket.

Interseting side note: Penndot is not doing the sticker thing anymore, they are losing money. Good, I'm tired of being singled out.

Sorry it's so long but it's just so wrong! issed:

Well I dont mind the amber so i got 194 bulbs that have four leds in them that are clear until you give them power then they are amber but have you looked on ebay. Its always a good place to find something and then do a search for it or whatever.

The only trouble I have with the second one, is when they ship the product, someone has to be there to sign for it. That can be difficult for me because
I'm usually out of the house for about 12 hrs a day. Working sucks!
