How To Disable Drl's (new)
The DRL relay is relay #22 in the engine bay fuse box.
the first pic is the side you won't be dealing with of the relay.
2nd pic is the correct side with the two contacts with a very small space in between of them, THIS IS WHERE YOUR TAPE/CARDBOARD WILL GO.
i used a piece of cardboard, the pic of the relay/cover/cardboard piece should give you an idea of how wide and long it is.
last pic is of the cardboard installed in between the contacts, no more drl's and no svs light.

I'm curious if anyone else has done this...I did it this afternoon...took like 3 min. I'm just wondering if putting cardboard in there is gonna set my car on fire?

your car wont start on fire.
A) there isn't enough current
B) many capacitors are made with cardboard and oil (and they store ALOT more power)
C) you'd need a spark, the cardboard is an insulator to prevent current from passing.
Your safe.

I have an '03.... my drl relay only has 4 pins(missing the middle pin from the one pictured) I just pulled the relay out, still have automatic lights, and no svs light.

That's what I like about the '03, only had to pull the relay to disable the drl.
