Where to get power
Hi, I was wondering where to get power for LEDs Inside the car (doors, dash, ect..) and relay it all to a switch.
Also wondering where to get power if i want to put LEDs in the front lights?
Thanx

front lights, put them on a switch w/ constant power.
for interiors, patch a line into the fuse that into the very top right of the passanger fuse box. it'll turn on when your DRLs kick off and headlights kick on.
you can connect to constant power, but you won't see them during the day anyway.
other then that, run ONE fused line into the center console, then go to radioshack and get a set of barrier strips + jumpers.

you can easily turn that one wire into several easy to run, connections.
happy wiring

Kinda off topic, not meaning to bash, but what is the point of putting leds in the headlights? I understand using them as a light while you're driving but random colors in your headlight doesn't seem intriguing to me.

He's talking about putting like 2-3 leds per side, so when your car is parked your headlights glow. Unless he's going all out and doing something crazy. It looks pretty cool IMO. Basically during the day you can't see them at all, and your headlights drown them out completly so no worrys there. Also the battery drain is so minimal on say 8 leds it's not worth even thinking about unless you don't start your car for over a week (probably a lot longer but I know someone has a shot battery and would cry) There's a not so good pic of it here a couple posts down...

don't drill into the lights. you can mount them in, next to your headlight bulbs, just be sure the led points back toward the reflector.
