that's what I'm thinking.. if you want horsepower.. do it right. a chip isnt going to magically make your car suck in more air and/or fuel to produce that kinda horsepower

Not to mention they list the same gains for every vehicle on there, regardless of the engine size.

And? It lists 50 hp and 50 torque (doesn't even say ft. lbs, just 50 torque) for every vehicle. Thats the minimum, and its bullshit. BTW when you increase power you generally don't increase fuel efficiency. Anyone who buys that deserves a punch in the mouth.

if its a ture money back i guess it realy wouldn't hurt. but the only vehicles i've seen chips work on are engines that are tuned down for that vehicle, as in deisels and full size v8s in hslf tons.

No no no no no no!!!! This is all the same crap. That is a generic piece of garbage! Where are you going to put this "chip?" Crack open the pcm and solder it in? Please. Spend $30 more and go to mpracing.org or 60degreev6.com and get a real PCM tuned for your mods that actually does something as well as supporting a pair of great guys from the grandamgt.com site. Please just do yourself a favor and listen to me. Search DHP PCM on here and you will find all the info you need for a mod done right rather than radio shack quality gimmicks.

you can get this stuff at radio shack for a couple bucks.... just ask cherrington... or go to radio shack and pick up a 555 timer chip and break open you PCM (cause I dont know how to open it) then just solder it in anywhere, but make sure pin1 is soldered into ground otherwise it won't work.

rofl. hok is right.
thats just a IC chip. can't do crap for you, performance wise.
even if you get your money back, you still pay for shipping... thats how they're making money off it.
fyi.. radioshack sells those for like... $5.

I thought there was a thing about shit like this in an FAQ??? NO CHIPS BY THEMSELVES WILL ADD HORSEPOWER. the only electronic stuff you can do to increase performance is use a program such as HPtuners to tune the hardware (ie: the valvetrain, etc)
