Throttle Body question
My bro just got a 3.5 tb from the junk yard. Will it bolt right up to my 3.4?

I don't think so. Milzy Motorsports and Wot-Tech sell adapters to make the LX5 and LX9 tb's work with the LA1.

Keep in mind that your 3400 UIM isn't ported to fully utilize the extra size of a 65mm TB so there really isn't much to gain by installing one. Also the 65mm TBs are best if used on an engine that has some port work done to it, but it also doesn't hurt if you really want to put one on.

We did some porting of it on our own. Mostly just gasket matching but we did port the upper a lot, Im not great with this stuff my bro does most of it for me while I do a little to learn. Besides the adapter and the throttle cable placement its straight forward? I really need to make a build thread...My new heads look pretty

I have heard some people just take the stock 3400 tb and line it up with the 3500 tb and then drill out the holes themselves... rather than buying the adaptor plate it can be done.... don't hold me to this, I have just heard people do that themselves...

LA1 to LX9 tb adapter from MMS, and the LX5 tb cable bracket and LX5 tb adapter from Wot-Tech.
I don't think the MMS adapter is what you're looking for, but the Wot-Tech stuff might be up your alley.
