pinstripe
well first of all, my finger nails are still sore from pulling it off however I will say yes, the blow drier does help a TON. but there are a few spots that refuse to come off no matter what I do. they are in the same area on the driver and passenger sides. the rest of the pin striping was raised a little, you could clearly tell it was there and could get a fingernail under it to pull off. the little bits left in the pics are completely smooth, cant feel them at all and are not as dark colored as the rest. after a few hours iv decided they are not going to come off. iv tried scrubbing, fingernail polish remover, and paint thinner (no, i wasnt an idiot with it, the paint is fine) and it will not come off. what else can i try?

Yup. And paint thinner, I was told they would "melt off" with it, but it didn't phase it at all.

Nope. I made a special trip to get it the night I first ran into the problem. It didn't do a thing.

3M Makes a Pinstripe Remover. It looks like a round eraser that goes on the end of a drill. You can find it at Wal-Mart or parts stores and it works great!

Waste of money buying an eraser wheel for a little pinstripe....totally unnecessary. A little heat and elbow grease works just fine.....then clean the area and polish....DONE.
buy an eraser wheel... smh.... unless you plan on taking pinstripes off of all your friends and families cars then its pointless.

sand it out with some 2000 grit....then bring it to a body or detail shop (pref detail place cause they do that stuff....body shops are usually pretty busy) have them buff the spots you sanded....boom...done.

Mine came right off just by peeling it off. That was after it was sitting under snow for a couple of weeks though.
