in the center console, there is a small rubber mat in the bottom, remove it and you will see two bolts, take them out...........

when all of the olts are removed, you will need to make sure that the keys are in the on position. *make sure the car is turned off* drop the gear down to 1st or 2nd gear and then pull the section around your shift knob up......it should just snap out........

pull up on the back of the console, and pul back on the whole thing at the same time........when you get it out turn it over.........you'll see the screws that hold the top and the bottom of the console together........remove only the outside screws.......i've got them maked on one side, but you can't see the ones on the other side in the picture............

once all of these screws are out, the top part will lift off of the bottom part..........next, you will need to remove the screws holding in the boot........

after they are removed.........you can pull the plastic retainer and the boot will be stapled to it........remove the staples and pull the boot off of it..........place you new boot in the same way the old one was there.........you will have to replce the plastic retainer with the boot on it, and then put the screws through the boot to hold it in, unless you have a heavy duty stapler............after this is done, just reassemble the top and bottom parts opposite of how you took them apart. the rest is pretty much self-explanitory............these are the best pictures i have, if anyone has any questions, you can esnd me an im...........have fun!!!!

Im not sure if you looked carefully dude - those instructions were for the A/T console...

Hey Alerospeed2003, as far as your pic collection dude, do you have any pics of the ebarke handle without the boot on? From what you saw, was it possible to change the E-Brake handle as well??? Good work, I just noticed I have a big rip in my boot, so im gonna find a red one to change it with. Good How-to dude, keep up the good work!
