it's a pretty basic build up too. it's definitely not out of anybody's reach this type of power. Most everything can be picked up off the shelf off of some website. The real fabrication is the intercooler plumbing, mounting the intercooler, and the downpipe. That track run wasn't done w/ a 2.3L 56mm throttle body, not my current LS1 75mm setup either. It's once again a straightforward build.

sorry typos all over the place... stock 2.4L throttle body, so 52mm, modified to fit a 2.3HO manifold... :-x

nice, how easy is it to fit the ls1 tb? Im gettin sum ideas when I do mine, secret cam, 2.3 heads, forged iternals maybe even a custom made bottom end and so forth. You said ur running a gt30 turbo?

yes Garrett GT30R. LS1 t/b how easy is it? Um, lop off the old t/b flange on a 2.3ho manifold, have a new flange made at a place that does CNC/waterjet/whatever type of cutting, weld the new flange on, find some way to secure the linkage, weld it on, clean it up, and you're all set.
Side note: the 2.3Ho manifold I'm using is a loaner until I build my intake manifold. I have a 2.4L intake manifold flange made, now I just need to head on down and have them produce a throttle body flange, for my new 75mm throttle body. It should be mad tyte. Sheet metal intake manifold? FTMFW!
Yeah my bottom end isn't exactly custom, it's just JE slugs at stock compression and eagle rods.. Parts wise my bottom end is as basic as it gets.
I also have plans of upgrading my head beyond what I currently have setup. I'm going to be fitting 2.3HO valvetrain components to give the head more upper RPM stability then the current 2.4L valvetrain setup, plus I'll be fitting in over sized valves, getting ARP studs, and a metal headgasket. Maybe even try a new cam as well. Still in the early planning stages.

damn 75mm tb that shit is mad huge...
Ill keep it in mind if I wanna go with the ls1 tb, shit maybe an ls2 would go good, yeah whenever I get my shit done I wanna step up the compression a lil bit, bore out the heads bigger and bore the cylinders 30 over.
get that custom crankshaft made and slap a big turbo on that ho and Ill be straight
