Wheel alignment?

I took it in to get the so-called free check at Dunn Tire and the guy said he couldn't do the check because I needed new strut bearings...said it would cost $525 to replace those and the struts...I have a 2003 GL with 20,000 miles, and about 10,000 of that is highway...I can't possibly believe that I would need to replace those already...he said that it's "normal" to replace them around 30,000 miles

Now, I did slide into a curb sideways when my car slipped on some ice during the past winter...but I dont think that would affect the strut bearing...he claims that the strut bearing was binding too much to do the alignment check!

i believe in strut bearings, they mean strut mount. When ur strut mount is bad, it will throw off ur alignment and wear out the tires quicker too.

but if u got 20,000 miles... it appears to be too earily to change those. normally around 60,000 miles and up.
