Ruby is still making weird sounds...

Well...the pulley is no longer rubbing on the mount....fixed that sound. But now when i accelerate from a dead stop it makes all kinds of weird noises like something is loose. Then when i get up to like 20-25mph and it shifts....no noise. I DON'T like to beat on the car when it's like this so i've been babying her. Now what i'm thinking is that shop may have been right about needing a transmission mount. I think that stiffer milzy tranny mount i put in is putting more stress on the other mount. OR maybe the bolts are loose on it cause i know those jack wagons already broke one of my bolts.

Gonna be checking out the noise hopefully this weekend and we can fix it. I just want my car to drive normal!!!! It hasn't been completely the same since i've done the swap. Maybe we left some bolts a little too loose (we didn't torque many bolts)...which i was worried about but it was taking us long enough for the swap and i wanted to get it done. Maybe WOT-tech is right....the engine isn't lined up right...



OH YEA.....the cruise control is fixed.....the problem.....wire wasn't connected to the throttle body. FIXED

Does the engine look offset to you? Crack out the tape measure and measure the distance from the firewall and the back of the upper manifold on the left and then on the right, or you could do it in the front to the header panel. This will tell you right quick if there's a problem

Yea, the cruise works a lot better when the cable is attached Don't worry, I had no cruise for a year because my cable would not adjust, then I took the cable off the cruise box, which broke the box

There's a nut missing at the end of the bolt going through the transmission mount. Gotta go pick up a nut and lock washer. Maybe it came loose from us not tightening it enough idk...just can't wait to get it fixed!

Got a nut from Home Depot and lock washer....put it back on nice and tight. Everything is good.......for now
