now, it will not work.
i did searching and others were having the button issue.
this is not that.
i have checked the fuses, i unplugged the cruise control and plugged it back in.
still no go.

do you press the on/off button a lot? I just leave mine on and have had no issues with it. You might need a new button.

Could be the main cruise control system in the engine bay, but I'm not 100% sure.

Check to see if the cruise control cable came loose off of the piece that is attached to the throttle body.

You might end up damaging further.
So the cable is tight like a tiger right?
The fuse is good, the power button is on?
You got me. I would check to make sure that the both cables iare really tight though.

well it would be working now if he didnt give it a donkey punch lol jk
i've heard of this before where the switch works just fine but the control just wont work. as long as you see the cable is tight and not slipped or anything, i wouldn't know 100% what else it would be at that point

It will look like a stupid comment, but on one of my car, the cruise wasnt working because the speedometer was not working properly. I think the gear in the transmission that was telling the speed was stripped and my speedo wasnt really accurate.
Or maybe its a question of computer.

well your ABS sensor is bad, so you would need to replace your wheel hubs to get rid of SVS, trac off and abs off light

well, yeah.
those damn lights.
it is a hit-n-miss thing with them now.
some days, no lights.
other days, i'll be driving and then (bing bing bing) they all come on.
so, when i want to take it to autozone, no lights.

I had a similar a similar problem on a diff. car. Cruise light comes on when you press the button but the speed drops. It wasn't a blown fuse or loose cable... it was a small vacuum hose which hooks up into the cruise control accuator or pump, I'm not sure what they call it. It should be pretty easy to find... one side of the cruise control cable leads right to it. You have a cable on one side and a vacuum connection (tube) on the other. Tube's either cracked (leaks air), disconnected or connected wrong.
