mine did that too, no prob, the maf came off. There can be lots of reasons for a miss. check the plug to see if its ok, check gap etc. check your maf (that one eluded me, i had changed the fuel filter before i figured it out) then id check wires.

furthest to the passenger side? what the? i know its rear, seeing as we just have 6 how bout driverside, middle, or passenger side lol cause that furthest thing confused me......it specifically says cylinder one though.....thats why im not sure about the maf but ill check it out....i have spare coils so im going to swap that first even thoughi dont think its the problem, then i will reach back there to check the plugs, hopefully the plug just fell off or maybe the tip of the plug just came off.....only 110,000 and its never gave me problems like this before.......so if anyone can tell me whether its driverside rear or passenger side rear id appreciate it.............but thanks everyone for the replies......

passenger side rear, below the alt. the back 3 are the odd number ones 1,3,5 from left to right as you look at the engine from the front.

**ok update** changed out the plugs, the were worn, but not severely enough to cause the misfire problem......changed the plug wire with a known good one, still same problem......then i thought lets change the coil because i have a spare that i know is good.....so i swap the one coil, same problem.......there is fuel in the cylinder (spark plug saturated in it) so i think i can rule out it being a fuel issue.......now when i try an old plug with a known good plug wire(off coil 1)i think i get a weak spark but i dont know the difference because i didnt pull one off to compare........so the only things i havent ruled out are the coil module, and maybe the injector but i do have fuel in that cylinder.....after that it seems to be an internal problem.......but if someone can explain to me the difference between a weak spark and a good one when i look at it.........or you have any other ideas id appreciate it.....

ok possibilities ruled out.......spark plug, spark plug wire, coil, coil module......when i pulled the spark plug the first time it was saturated in fuel, now i wont rule out the fuel injector but thats the last thing i can think of.......its nothing vacuum cause its one cylinder specific, it cant be bad fuel pressure cause other than the misfire it still gets up and go's.....cant be transmission.......so its either i lost compression in the cylinder (whether it be a valve or piston), i dont know if each cylinder has its own air runner but that can be clogged, or the fuel injector is clogged.....thats what im coming down to......help me out people lol thanks alerored04 for the bump......if this is the end i will have some stuff for sale.........

if i were you id try some injector cleaner just for the hell of it, costs like $3 so its worth a shot. Man i wish i could think of something this just baffles me. If you decide to part it pm me about the pod and gauges!

yea the thing is i just poured some of that in there but your right i can give that a try, is there some real good kind that I should try? and for sure you got dibs on the pod set up, its pretty sweet too cause i have it on its seperate wire harness so it disconnects for removal real easy......i also got the rear stb if u want it......

i poured some in.........i noticed some heavy fluid on the ground near the exhaust tip, theres a small fuel puddle back there.......so fuel is getting there but its not burning.....working coil, working coil module, working plug wire, and working plug swapped........could the lack of compression not allow it to burn?? im thinking of trying some of that seafoam..........through the pcv valve.........to see if maybe the intake valve is clogged and this will free it up......

sounds like a good idea. The rear stb sounds good too, only problem is that i have subs and im not sure how itll fit. Maybe you are getting too much fuel, causing the miss, check the fuel pressure redulator.

how would i be getting too much fuel to only one cylinder......that would be an injector problem which i guess could be a possibility........
