2000 - 2005 Impala Wing
Any ideas if this would fit with custom drilled holes? My only concern is that is may be too wide to fit on the trunk lid, otherwise I would very much like to give it a go.

It looks like the dimensions for holes on the grand am (can't find it for the Alero) is 38 3/4" from hole to hole while the Impala is 47 1/4" from hole to hole.
It doesn't seem like it would fit but I am going to run out and measure the trunk lid real quick.
Edit: the trunk lid comes up just shy of 50" across so it should fit, any opinions?

Do it. I think it would look pretty good.

I am hoping the local scrap yard has one on hand, it should make for a relatively inexpensive endeavor.

That was my thought plus it should be much less expensive especially without the need to pay shipping.

I found a guy parting out his silver (an exact match on the color to my Alero) 02 Impala on Craigslist. He is only a 30 minute drive out so hopefully he gets back to me.
I would hit a pull yard but the nearest is about 60 miles away.
Edit: Looks like it is from a salvage yard in the area, I will give them a call later.

It's definitely a different look. Don't worry about the bolt holes though, you should be more concerned with the width of the spoiler (wing as you call it). I'm not sure if the Impala and Alero have the same width on the trunk, but I do know that the styles are different, and the Impala's spoiler looks more formal compared to the Grand Am/Alero, which seems more of an afterthought.
You want the spoiler to be at the end of the trunk edges, similar to how the stock one is. The bolting is just that... a bolt hole.
