Thumbs up Head unit for decent price

Hey,

I have been keeping my eyes out for a decent deal and ran across this on Crutchfield. It's a single din JVC it has decent RMS, 6 premp outputs, Sub output, 4.8 preamp volts, HD radio for only $99. Not to mention the Metra adapter, Antenna Adapter, Master sheet and lifetime tech support. Only draw back is the need to buy a Bluetooth adapter for $79 if you want bluetooth streaming or phone..

Meh It's easier to stream music thru a USB for me to be honest. I don't really use the phone much you know us old people lol. For a model with the above features + Bluetooth is about $100 so if you get the AHS-65 plus the Blue tooth you actually save like $30. sorry forgot to actuallyy link it lol.

I hear ya. I' am a tightwad money wise lol. I usually troll every site from amazon to ebay and every store in between before I buy something. I did that with my Clifford matrix and my Subwoofers and amp and got em both on sale and installed.

The JVC was the one deck that had all the stuff I wanted and was the cheapest. You can find some with bluetooth instead of HD raido but I don't use the cellphone alot so opted to go with HD radio instead.

Best Buy is usually overpriced.... I bought a Sony amp there for $200 but eBay had a brand new one for $120 with free shipping...

Yeah I hear ya. More than likely I will have it installed. I' am too lazy in my old age to do any installs myself. Gone are the days of laying in the gutter putting in a new tranny while I have the old fluid tricking down my back lol. Thanks for the offers though. I kind of stopped looking at the DD's after looking at some peoples pics. Kinda looked ugly like they didn't really fit at all. I would welcome any pics people have of DD's that look decent and how ya installed em to look right.

I still like my 2003 Alpine cda-9827. You might be able to find one for cheap
http://www.crutchfield.com/S-ROgd0wg...-CDA-9827.html

I got a cheap cable to convert the CD-changer port to be able to head phone port on my cell phone. Build quality is great, mine has been bumping since 2004 looks new still.

I always keep an eye out for deals. That's how I get all my stuff at such a good price. I' am such a scrooge it's not even funny lol. I don't think I have purchased anything that wasn't on sale with the exception of groceries for like 3 years.

Really? This isn't the selling $10 radio page buba. I have the Monsoon system w/ stock amp + SoundStream Tarantula SST6.9 bi-amplifieds instead of the cheapy stocks and a 1000 watt Kenwood amp running 2 12's in a ported box. I was looking into upgrading my deck not downgrading my system. Thanks for the offer though.

As a side note I saw a deck on sale at the Crutch today. Not a bad deal for $149. Bluetooth, HD radio, 4 volt preamp, Sub Preamp, XM ready.
