Results From Oldsmobile Nationals 2004

well first thing.............

the guy who did the OSV's was there. And I found out that Olds did 1 alero 442, 1 2001 green OSV alero, and 2 2000 red OSV aleros.

so with that known, there is only 1 surviving OSV. the green and other red one were crushed. along with alero 442.

so the last OSV was at the nationals along with the only one made Intrigue 442.

now for a little background on judging and etc. you are on a points scale. anyone with 900-1000 points (1000 points being the best) gets first place, 800-900 is second and so on. then there is Best of Class which is over 975 points and if more than one does it goes to the highest. so the best car wins.

with that said.............. this is how I did at my first nationals.

I won 1st place and Best of Class!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My class was Street Stock 1900-present non 442. I competed against 70's cutlasses and 80's cutlasses and full size Olds, etc.

So I have the top Oldsmobile Street Stock. I was just f..in shocked.

I can wait to get my judge sheet and see how many points i got. To have an Alero do this good at the Oldsmobile Nationals is just awesome.

now i shall post some pics from the show. there was 500+ Oldsmobiles there and a bunch of great people along with alero owners who will be joining the Alero Chapter. So many great things and then there was john rock. The insight that he gave what was happening behind everything was great and answered a lot of questions.
