LEDs in PRND321?
Does anyone know the best way to use LEDs for the PRND321 light? I can't figure out a way to hold the LEDs in place.

I took the bulb out, epoxied the hole in, and drilled a hole for each LED under each letter.

exactly, do as told, use blue led and if needed shave dow the tip so the led isnt projecting the light to 1 spot.

hell, a blue bulb will do the job too, however, blue bulbs tend to fade to purple over time.
just remember 194.

hot glue, on the inside. just take the prnd321 out (just clips in) and i put some glue in there. it helps spread the light more, and holds them in place.
just don't really layer it in there, then the prnd321 won't fit correctly.

two color leds blue normal and red when shifter is on that gear.
just a thought maybe when inm not working while out for my shoulder i will play with led and tis idea.
how to do it (maybe):
wire the red led in to dash selector glued into the back of the PRND321 console
blue 194 bulb backround
the leds are clear so the blue will show through when red is off.

^nope the letters PRND321 by the shifter are acutllly blue from the factory with a clear 194 behind them, so red won't really show through right. But you can change them from the stock greenish to blue if you put blue led's where the 194 was. crappy pic below but ya get the point.
