Milzy motorsports EGR delete kit.

I saw Milzy motorsports has a EGR delete kit for sale on there site, but is it really going to improve anything? I do believe the EGR is there for emmisions correct?

Aleros equipted with the LD9 did not feature the EGR system. That modification would fit the cavaliers and sunfires who consider removing their EGR system.

alerored04 is an unknown quantity at this point
DOHC the EGR delete is for the 3400. You will see no gains from this. It is mostly for people who have either done headers or custom turbo kits who do not wish to run an EGR tube from their new manifolds.

Supposedly some very early '99s with the 2.4 may have it. Other than that it's only the V6s.

I'm pretty sure you have to reprogram your ECU with the block off kit. If you just remove the workings you'll get codes thrown. Doing this will greatly reduce the amount of carbon build-up in your intake plenum and manifold, but if your state / county requires emissions testing it probably will not pass.

I ran my fully boosted motor with 42lb injectors, 15lb pulley, and an egr delete and passed emmissions with flying colors...and if you know what you are doing with HP tuners, you will never throw a code for the deleted egr.......

Bear in mind, that if you block off the EGR, you may lose a bit of fuel mileage.
