tinted and painted tails
decided to tint my tails to go with the white and black theme i have going. turned out pretty well, except where the clear actually dissolved some of the tint and it bled out a little bit. had to use a little bit of touch up paint to cover it up, but its not noticeable unless you're like 2 feet away. here's some pics:

Attachment 7211

Attachment 7213
and if anybody is wondering what that ribbon magnet near the gas cap door says, it says: "Support My Balls". my brother got it for me and i think its effing hilarious.

I see where you're going with this...I like cars with themes.
Which did you do first? The tinted lens, or the white outlines? It looks clean enough, and pretty unique.
There has to be a way to adjust the trunk lid to make it more in line with everything else...my trunk is slightly askew to the right...
Is that a Razzi wing?

had the white lines there, but it looked kinda funny with all that red and yellow, so i tinted those parts, and had to redo the white. then put a ton of clear on top of it all. and my trunk is screwed up cuz the actual part thats spot welded to the body of the car rusted out and its (for now) half assed bolted back together. and yes its a razzi spoiler.
thanks for the comments so far.

and the lights arent quite as dark in person as they show up in the pics. with the sun hitting them u can still see red, yellow, and now a greyish. light up good too. just have to see how well the reverse lights do in the dark.

Yeah a friend of mine did the ventshades to the tails of his truck, and it looked really nice...I mean...not too dark, but dark enough so the lights looked real silky...very subtle....been thinkin about doing that to mine. Looks good on yours though!

ya, id love it if my trunk lined up, but for some reason its completely rusted out. no other rust anywhere on the car, but that parts almost gone. im thinking the car may have been in a slight rear end collision, and maybe the impact bent it enough to know paint off and that aused the whole latch to rust off.

ya, the plate that the striker in on thats welded to the car is completely rusted out. the actual body of the car rusted from right around it. im just glad i (sorta) fixed it before my trunk flew open on the highway or something.

thanks again for all the compliments. i think besides tinting the windows, this is the last cosmetic/appearance thing im doing to the car. that is unless i can find a really cheap set of 17 or 18 in 5 6 or 7 spoke black wheels and tires.
