Well, I finally made it in here. I haven't posted much because I've been doing too much reading. I just got my grey on grey 2003 2.2L Alero a couple weeks ago. Yeah I know I'm not going be doing any racing with a 2.2L, but it doesn't mean I can't enjoy my ride.
Thanks to you all I'm going to have excercise my mechanically inclined nature and start tweaking things. Basically I have a stock car with spoiler. I did rip out the stereo the first day though. I thought crapy huge headunits went out of style with the 8 track.
I live in Santa Barbara, California. No I'm not rich, sorry ladies. Unfortunatly California laws are pretty nasty when it comes to modding your car. Basically you can't do much, legally. Most of my mods will probably be to the interior. It seems body kits will be pretty much right out since I won't be lowering my car as I like to drive on crappy dirt roads.
My current plans are some painting of console pieces to give them a granite look, some interior lighting (love those vent lights), some switches mounted bellow the headunit, new gauges, and tires and rims. Unfortunatly money is a little tight right now, so that's probably the order I'll be doing things in.
I just got married and somehow all my money disapeared just like everyone said it would. In a week or so I'll get some before pictures of my car Hopefully it won't look like 2fst4u's car/pile of metal with mirror pictures too soon.
Thanks for all the great ideas everyone, and I look forward to lots more.
-Ghadsphi-
PS: The wife hates you.

Damn I forgot to mention I like beer, wine, and booze! Just not before driving. Got my first 5 gallons of homebrew stout brewing right now. Woot Woot.

I bet I could get it to look like that by myself. It would be the putting it back togather part I would need help with. Well that and maybe where I put all the nuts after I had a few. I always tend to have extra parts or missing parts when I put something back togather. But it always works.
Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I really appreciate it.
