where can i find a "full exhaust"
Im not trying to race or nothing just want a little more power to haul ass on ricers ( even tho civics and integras arent a problem) i want a full exhaust from the headers out to give it a nice rumble and power sound, im the only guy at my skool with an alero so its unique the girls dig the interior ( keep it clean and shiny) plus the aleros got some classy yet sporty looks so its kool jus want to sound more diesel if n e of u pros know where i could find headers to the back just let me know the sites and the roughly the cost of such mod

you do realize your avatar makes you look like a total jackass right?
theres no reason to go from headers back, cat back would be what you're looking for....i guess
borla and slp make "full exhausts"(lol) or any decent muffler shop could build you one that sounds 100x better. and im "sure" the girls "dig" the interior

headers=400.00 to 800.00, slp exhaust 450.00? i think? custom exhaust at a shop 300.00. headers will increase exhaust volume alot, will sound nicer with just a custom setup from cat back, a 40 series flowmaster sounds good on a stock setup.

for the 3800 swap question, just do a search on any n-body board...
for the exhaust, S&S headers or the other guys if you can find a set somewhere... you'll need to either get the optional cat pipe or go custom and from there on out you could go with a cat-back from pace setter, mp racing, borla or SLP

Do a custom cat back, best and most cost effective way to do it. As for the swap, forget it, not possible for someone like you or me.

alright, dont spend 450 or 800 on an exhaust, go to www.car-stuff.com and get the pacesetter exhaust. it says its for the 2.2 and 2.4 but it fits the 3.4 too. I have one and i love it. Its about $300(i think).

its not that, its just honestly not worth it... they dont flow aswell as our engines, so for the money youspent swapping over a 3800 you could have a turbo'ed 3400 capable of blowing the trans away and still have money left....
billy, any chance of a sound clip?

Don't get the headers if you just want the tone.
Just get a Flowamster 40 or 80 and you're set

I would just buy the GTP for $700 and build the hell out of it. It's worth much more than that if it's running decent.

about 70-80 bucks for a 40 series, about 90 or so for a 50 series, and from 90 to 100 for a 80 series.
a glasspack will only sound good if you get the right size. longer ones cut out more of the high tones getting rid of the raspy sound. short ones let more tones through (high ones too).

Not trying to steal your thread here Exit9Alero, but if I were to get a Flowmaster muffler, when I take it to a shop, I just want to tell them to put the same diameter pipe from the cat back?
Im just making sure, cause I don't want to go into a shop and sound like a complete idiot, and them take advantage of me. I've never shopped for an exhaust, and I know that you can get a shop to do it cheaper than buying a full setup, but I don't have the first clue in what to tell them what I want. So if anyone can PM me and possibly help me out with this, I would appreciate it.

Your going to want 2.5 inch piping from the cat back(if you plan on doing mods that will get you a good amount of HP), if you are only going to put and exhaust on your car with a CAI, then you should get 2.25 inch piping from the cat back.
The car comes with 2 inch piping stock.
