ok, this is primarily for pimpalero2003, but the rest of you might find this useful as well.
DropZone springs, $89 set of 4, $26 shipping.
This ebay advertisement is for 97-04 Malibu, and will fit Alero/Grand Am as well. Advertises 1.5" drop front and rear.
My friend has them on his Malibu and he loves em. His car sits nice and rides really good.
He also said dont use the "buy it now" option, find the set on auction with the least amount of time remaining on em, and save about $20 and get them for $90 shipped.

everyone in the VW community stays the hell away from dropzone, but then again, we like to auto-x and stuff like that, as far as getting them for looks, they should do fine.

Would anyone have an idea of how they would compare to the Eibach springs?

Yes many guys over at gagt said they had sagging issues with cannuck motor sports springs. they are cheaper ebay springs, so anything this cheap leads you to wonder about quality....

eibach does a lot of r&d before they put out a spring. they're going to have a better rate then these springs. however, these will give you a lower drop with less response

might be lesser quality, but i HIGHLY doubt they'd sell springs that'd get them into trouble. ie: spring breaks, causes accident...i really doubt they'd wanna get into lawsuits

agreed, no point in selling crappy items for cars, b/c admit it, its an expensive hobby, if you recieved a crap item that caused ALOT of problems and possible injury, im sure something like that will get out in real hurry and next min you know, the dudes selling them anit making any money. its just not good business practice. yes i know some ppl out there do sell crap items but when it comes to something like that, ya dont wanna risk it. just my 2 cents

sagging won't be caused by lesser quality...if i'm thinking right, the spring rate will decide that...

^exactly, but a cheaper material can cause the spring to wear out quicker, in which case the ride will suck. but, i'm sure they're worth the very small chunk of change if you just want the look.

if any of you guys decide to go with these, be sure to right up a review, and keep us posted with how they settle and handle. We can perhaps steer noobs away from a bad product OR direct them to a quality inexpensive product.

i dont know if they'd fit or not.
i remember intrax springs falling off the perch in the rear, because they were made for the GRAND AM and we all know the grand am is near identical, so do the math on that one.
