every single speaker in my entire car is blown except for the tweeters on the doors. and i need your guys input on what new 6x9's and 4x6's i should get. i have crutchfield magazines and im just not sure which ones to get, so i'd appreciate other peoples opinions on what speakers to get.
oh yeah im looking for a decent amount of low, high, and mid range. you know something well balanced.

get 5.25 for the doors with the mentra adapter plate for the cavalier, it works great.
I have boston acoustics 6x9's and they sound amazing, much better then the type r's that i originally had
for doors i have phoenix gold tantrum series and they are decent, but dont blow me away like the boston's do.

if u want really crystal clear highs and mids.. go with Diamond audio.
their component set for a 6 1/2 (top of the line) retails for 700 bucks. but you find em on ebay for 320 bucks. You will need an amp to power them.

if you guys would read my post.....you'd know soundstream is making bi-ampable 2ohhm/4ohm 6x9's again, so DEFINATLY get those if you plan on keeping the factory deck, otherwise it will sound like crap, no mid/low bass from the back at all
then up front, if your keeping the factory deck again, get either a 4x6 plate, like the polk momo, or 4" components. no point in going bigger than a 4" component if your keeping the factory deck, bass is filtered out anyways.
this is assuming you have the monsoon amp in the trunk, pull back the carpet on the left side up by the strut tower

If you are replacing the deck for the money you cant beat pioneer. I recomend polk audio momo for 4x6's and 6x9's. The reproduction is so smooth.

Iwould not go buy what others like. Go to the store and try all of them out and see what you like best. just stay away from the cheap ones.
