Top 10 things I learn at past ASS shows
These usually come out AFTER ASS but since it's now February 10th and ASS is only 4 months away, maybe this will make people want to come:
10. 17 Aleros rolling thru Lansing turns a lot of heads
09. Fire and Ice grill makes awesome burgers/brauts/hot dogs
08. The ground is too hot on Scott's bare ass
07. Over 500 Oldsmobiles at Homecomming!
06. Learning more about your Alero is easier to do in person
05. Go Karts, need I say more
04. People always look at the pics AFTER the show and say "Dude, I def going next year!!" and still don't show up
03. For some people, the drive is long and tediuos, but still make the trek. People within an hour of Lansing usually don't show or stay for the entire thing
02. It's a full & fun weekend!
and the number one reason to come to ASS 2008
01. We are now talking about it 4 months in advance. If you want to come, save now, and/or get the time off NOW. I already have my vacation put in for it

It's a sticky in this very forum: http://www.aleromod.com/forums/showthread.php?t=20953
And yes, it's all about having another Alero in the lineup.
I'll stay the whole time this time, lol.

My second biggest lesson: People make of it what they want - if they wasted a whole weekend on it they'll have a better time than if they have something better less than an hour away.
Have fun guys, but I'll be spending Father's Day with my family. And my MINI.

I won second place in the stock category and didn't think I'd win anything. Plus my hood was/is having major rust issues.

Its definitely not about getting serious about showing but to have an excuse to hang out with other alero owners and talk everything cars, having fun, meeting new people from the site, and acting crazy for some.

^ no balconys... its an indoor pool. you'd be jumping horizontally, like 20ft from a bedroom window.

If I go, I'll be bringing my video camera, so if anyone plans on doing any pranks, let me in on it and I will video tape it to post on here for all to enjoy!

I go straight North from Nashville through Louisville, Indianapolis and then to Lansing. I could meet with some up that way if anyone is interested, we have time to make more definite plans.
