Cng

Has anybody looked into converting their 3.4 to compressed natural gas? I checked into it five or six years ago but stopped the research when I discovered there was no way to fill up the tank. There is now a CNG facility in my hometown and was thinking of starting up the research again.

Thanks

CNG is most of the time not worth the effort. The tanks are too heavy for what you get out of it.

LPG is a different thing, tanks are lighter (hence a bit more volume) but not as efficient as CNG could be.

Check GMs engine portfolio, they have quite some CNG engines offered, maybe u find one that is on the same 60° V6 platform as our LA1s
