Ok.... so i'm pullin out of my driveway in reverse, and i go to shift into drive to pull away from my house, and i hit the gas, my engine just sits there and revs for about 1-2 seconds and then finally catches and the car moves.... my hunch is the transmission fluid is too high... has anyone else ever had this problem... if so.... how can I let my Trans Fluid leak out? i've looked in the manual and it says there isn't a way you can do it... something about it being like all internal or something, idk.... if anyone has any help... it would be appreciated

crap, i didn't follow directions and read the rules first.... ::smacks himself in head:: will a mod or an admin plz move this to the correct forum, thanks, sry

which engine do you have dude? theres a check plug somewhere up on the driver side of the transmission while you have the car running you get the bolt out of there and any excess fluid will come out.....

FormulaNERD is an unknown quantity at this point
sounds to me like a tranny problem, not the fluid being too high, you should see if your fluid is varnished...

flush your fluid and change your tranny filter.. see what happens, your pump might be cloged
