Slave cylinder question...

While doing a clutch replacment, have any of you found that you actually needed to replace your slave cylinder/throw out bearing? I've noticed that most of the kits come with one, but is it needed? I'm tempted to just replace it anyway since I'll have to trans out, but I could use the extra cash.

It's not absolutely necessary, but you have to look at the cost for the slave/throwout assembly versus the cost of pulling the trans again if it goes.
