Hello,
Is there an easy way to fix this and have it look right?

Use the search button or do a little research on the forum. We have a discussion on this recently. This thread can be used to fix the issue.
Here is a link.

Thanks for the quick reply and suggestion to use the search function. (I tried that before posting) As seen in the picture my air bag cover is fine. We already replaced that. This is the area below the air bag cover that is peeling up.

I have that exact same problem. I've tried a couple different adhesives, but no luck.
any suggestions, anyone?

I am thinking about taking it to a shop and have it done. This is about the last thing on my list to do.

Funny how i see dash issues on these.
I have a 2001 alero with 226k miles, and no dash peel.
Also have an 04 alero (daily driver) with 180k miles and no dash peel... I guess im lucky?

yes you are. And I have a 99 , and the whole dash area in front of the driver and now passenger is starting to ripple and now peel right off (like a can of tuna)
The Airbag is pretty fine though.
Well she is sitting outside (unprotected) for probably 15 of her 17 years now. This might be a good clue why it happens

So, is it possible to disassemble or separate the two panels of the dash along that seam in the picture?

When I had the air bag out I looked and felt around for bolts but could not find any. That doesn't mean that there aren't any, just couldn't find any.

Dash Cap.
I had the peel really bad. Installed the cap, never looked back.
I might have to get another one though. The instructions said not to remove any material from the dash, so I didn't. Now the dash is peeling so bad, it's pushing the dash cap up

Yeah, if I get a dash cap I am going to cut the places where it is lifted and glue those down real good (probably with construction adhesive) and let that cure before installing the dash pad. Seems pretty obvious to me that if you are going to glue something to the existing dash pad, that you need to glue it to something that is attached good.

I bought it on eBay from a guy with user name, something like "az bob"
I don't remember exactly the name of the guy. I'll see if I can get pics of mine later. I put it in in 2006
