hello,
I have had 2 bulbs go on me in the last 3 months (1 turn 1 brake), so getting frustrated and scared of police pulling me over for bulbs, i decided to switch all of my bulbs with LEDs.

long story short, it was a success.
i think in the long run id rather not get putted over so im glad i spent the money.

let me know our opinion on all LED bulbs on the outside.

amyone have an issue with a sped up turn relay?

The hyper flashing is because the LED is so low resistance the computer thinks the bulb is out. A load resistor in parallel will fix that problem. I have about 1/2 of my lighting LED, All of the 194 (smaller bulbs). Looks nice. In the larger housing (rear lights,front turn signal/running light) You see the bulb its self more than the reflection around the housing, it changes the look dramatically. If you go LED for everything you CAN NOT (well, you could, but it will look awful) go all white. You need red for the rear lights, and amber for the front. The white will bleach out the lens and its just looks awful.
Some pics from my first alero for reference below, its not bad, but I prefer the incandescent bulb look.
Also, I have purchased many, many ebay bulbs and they are alright but after a few months individual diodes will start to go out, sometimes flickering for a while before they do. Every now and they you get one that lasts a long time. That being said if you go that way order bulk. Or if you want bulbs you'll never have to worry about spend the money and do it right.

I've done most of my outer bulbs
switchback with white 194 front
spider led for tail lights with 41 led per bulb

I'm not sure who made these.... there was a Canadian named wrightie on here that made a couple sets too and I'm not sure who made these.... they're essentially just clear lenses so unless they're a very early anderbra set I'm not sure! I know i love em and got em for a steal

Ah neat, I see now the turn signal is not amber. I would roll with those over my plasti-dipped set any day. Either is still better then the fugly blob of amber though...
If you were the distance of another car at night do you still see the individual diodes or do those lights reflect around enough to still give a kind of factory look?

Haha I'm not sure I've never driven behind me.... i know they're bright though.... lit up the entire interior of the car behind me lol

As for the amber turn signal i used one coat of black vht followed by 3 coats of red vht on my 5 speed tails.... put in a white bulb and it shined pretty red....
