fuses

i was just under the hood in the fuse box, planning on disabling the drl's, and i noticed that my fuse #6 which is just listed as "air" and fuse #49 which is listed as "gen batt" are both missing. and #49 is literally crossed out on the schematic. dont know if any of this has to do with the fact that i have a automatic starter or not, but i was just curious what these 2 fuses did. thanks.

As long as your car works, don't worry about it. Look at any fuse box and you'll probably find some missing. Manufacturer's don't make different boxes for different trim levels/options, but they aren't going to give you a fuse for a circuit you don't use. For example - all candian cars have to have immobilizers, so there's probably an empty fuse where that would be, and where I have a fuse for the heated seats and mirrors, someone who lives in Florida and didn't order that would just have an empty spot.
The owners' manual should list most of them if you really want to know.

well theres also a few that are there but say "unused" so these might be the ones used on other models/options. the 2 that are missing look like they shud be there, especially since one is one of the large main fuses. ill take a look in the owners manual tho...

It is a california emissions system. I have no idea how it works but I know some aleros came with it, I know Redog's has it and it has given him problems with getting new heads on it, be happy yours does not have it.
